At various times thru the years the club has held
large and popular events such as our show and tell pitch in luncheons. Members
have an opportunity to see displays and demonstrate a variety of prospecting
tools and equipment. On some occasions lecture’s are given on how to use metal
detectors and other issues related to our quest for GOLD.
MPA members hold a panning demonstration for
geology students at Kingman Academy of Learning.

The March 2007 meeting was
also a Pot-Luck dinner to show appreciation to those members of the club known
as "Snowbirds". They are usually only around during the winter months and miss
out on some of our other big events. They contribute much to the success of the
club.
