Until further notice: The claim sharing agreement with the Nevada prospecting club is suspended. MPA members need to stay off their claim's, unless your a member of both clubs.
Our Club makes every effort to have regular monthly outings, weather permitting.
We're going out again!
The March Outing will be on the 28th at the Griffith claim.
If you haven't been there before, you can meet at the Shinarump Exit at 8:30 am sharp. Other club members will be there to show you the way to the claim.
Be sure to checkout a special posting about a new Fed Law change that has passed the Senate and now headed for the House of Representatives. A link can be found on our newsletter calendar page.
If you should plan to go out on your own be sure to take plenty of drinking water, let someone know where you will be and a time you expect to return.
Some of us will be out at the claims on most weekends, and some weekdays. During hot weather get out there at sun up and leave mid day and beat the heat. Feel free to come out and join us.
Remember that the club has prospecting equipment that you can borrow if you need it. Check the monthly Newsletter for contact information. We're also looking for experienced members to volunteer to work with new members at the outings and show them how to use the equipment.
